A Lyrical Blast From the Past
I remember this song vividly from when I was a child. One to remember for the future…
Train whistle blowin’, makes a sleepy noise
Underneath their blankets go all the girls and boys
Rockin’, Rollin’, Ridin’, out along the bay
All bound for Morningtown, many miles a-way
Driver at the engine, Fireman rings the bell
Sandman swings the lantern to say that all is well
Rockin’, Rollin’, Ridin’, out along the bay
All bound for Morningtown, many miles a-way
Maybe it is raining where our train will ride
All the little trave’lers are warm and snug in-side
Rockin’, Rollin’, Ridin’, out along the bay
All bound for Morningtown, many miles a-way
Somewhere there is sunshine, somewhere there is day
Somewhere there is Morningtown, many miles a-way
Rockin’, Rollin’, Ridin’, out along the bay
All bound for Morningtown, many miles a-way
All bound for Morningtown, many miles a-way

The First Word
I last updated harrybailey.co.uk about 10 years ago. No really, it was that long ago. I used to use it to host various articles, including some pretty crappy content which wasn’t doing anything for anyone.
So 10 years on I thought it was time to scrap it and start again. It’s for the best.
The only thing I’m keeping is The Didsbury Dozen article. It (at least used to) comes up top for the main search terms and it has value. One of my many websites Fetch Didsbury can also make use of it.
If you live in South Manchester you might be interesting in Fetch Didsbury, Fetch Chorlton and Fetch The Heatons for local news, events and business profiles.
So now that this site has been reincarnated I will be using it as a general dumping ground for my rants, thoughts and beliefs. It won’t be geeky though. I may be a geek, but anything that fits into that category can be found over on harrybailey.com
That’s about it.
